Synopsis

We answered Canada's call for a landmark centerpiece as the guest nation at Hannover Messe 2025. We brought the abstract concept of quantum computing to life by creating "Project Qubit," an 8-meter mirrored installation that transported diplomats, technologists, and the public into a spatial illusion of superposition and flow, positioning Canada as a leader in innovation.

With tens of thousands of visitors ranging from delegates, ambassadors, generals and world leading quantum physicists, the visual impact was immediate, profound and perspective altering.

Impetus

As geopolitical tensions rose, Canada’s role as guest nation at Hannover Messe 2025 became a critical moment. The challenge was to create a centerpiece that could transcend policy and trade: something emotional, memorable, and future-facing. We saw an opportunity to use quantum computing's core, the Qubit, as a powerful metaphor. The goal was to offer a visceral encounter with Canada’s emerging identity: technically advanced, philosophically ambitious, and creatively daring.

Behind the Scenes

We constructed an 8-meter black mirrored cube, designed to be a magnetic presence on the trade floor. Inside, we engineered a hands-off generative simulation inspired by tensor networks and quantum logic. This was not an interactive display; it was an embodied experience. Visitors stepped into a spatial illusion of recursion, superposition, and multidimensional flow. The platform required no buttons or interface, focusing purely on generating a sense of awe.

The Last Word

An 8-Meter Mirrored Cube. A Hands-Off Generative Simulation. The Talk of the Trade Floor. Technology Made Beautiful, Strange, and Unforgettable.
